About the author
My name is Christoph Flöthmann, and I graduated with a PhD in (Supply Chain) Management from the Copenhagen Business School (ranked #15 among the best business schools in the world). I received the 2017 Emerald/EFMD Outstanding Doctoral Research Award and was a 2019 Emerald Literati Winner. Since then, I have been a strategy consultant for two top management consultancies, working on business strategy projects across the globe. Only recently, I have co-founded a startup in Berlin to digitalize the procurement function of large international corporations.
